In order to do well in a marketing major, certain skills are essential. Here are some skills that you will need to carry out in the marketing course:

(A) Persuasive communication and presentation skill
Strong persuasiveness is essential in marketing. It involves convincing someone to pay for your product or service which requires a good mix of messaging and packaging.

(B) Strong business curiosity and awareness

The businesses that are able to adapt and respond to the changes often thrive, so am the marketers and marketing students. Providing real life examples to support your opinions and points in marketing case studies and critical thinking questions are expected. It is good to keep yourselves updated by reading the business news.

(C) Ability to work in a team

In the field, marketing requires plenty of collaboration and synergy between departments and teams. You will always need to get along well with others for an effective outcome.
